An incandescent light bulb, is a device that produces light by Joule heating of a metallic filament, particularly of tungsten, to put at white, by passing electric current.

American inventor Thomas Edison lived and worked all his life in the United States. It was the most productive inventor of all time. Patented 1,903 inventions, including the incandescent lamp (similar to the light bulb we use today) and the phonograph. Also improved the film projector. Fundo also the first industrial research laboratory.
